Privacy Policy


Information on personal data processing pursuant to Article 13, EU Regulation no. 2016/679 ("GDPR").

Data submitted by Participants to register and take part in the Initiative are processed by independent data controllers Maggioli S.p.A, the Organizing Company and GranitiFiandre S.p.A, the Promoting Company, in compliance with European and national legislation in force.

This privacy policy is provided by Maggioli S.p.A., a company with registered offices in Via del Carpino no. 8 - 47822 Santarcangelo di Romagna (RN), Italy – email address privacy@maggioli.it, in its capacity as Data Controller. 

The Data Controller has taken steps to:

The Data Controller handles personal data for the following purposes:

  • To enable participation in the initiative by filling out the form, receiving information of logistical use, and subsequently contacting the participant in order to send out educational materials and any applicable certificates of participation and credit awards. This processing is necessary for execution of a contract to which the Data Subject is a party, which comes into effect at such time as registration for the event occurs;

Personal data entered on the event registration form shall be used for the purposes indicated above, and will  be retained until such time as the parties concerned request deletion.

Collected data may be passed on to the Promoter company for activities closely related to development of the initiative, and may also be passed on to bodies and institutions responsible for verifying the fulfillment of educational obligations.

Data handling shall be undertaken pursuant to methods and procedures strictly necessary for the pursuit of the purposes for which the data were collected, manually or with the aid of computerized tools.

Data handling shall be conducted directly by the Data Controller, by authorized staff, or by parties specifically appointed as data processors. At any time, Data Subjects may request from the Data Controller a full list of data processors appointed from time to time to process data for the purposes referred to in this statement.

Data Subjects may at any time exercise the rights provided for under Art. 15 et seq. of (EU) Regulation no. 2016/679 by sending an email to the address privacy@maggioli.it, or by writing to Maggioli S.p.A. at Via del Carpino no. 8 - 47822 Santarcangelo di Romagna (RN), Italy. If necessary, should they believe that their personal data has been processed in breach of applicable legal provisions, Data Subjects also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Guarantor supervisory authority.
