Course Description
The course focuses on new architectural ideas that can improve people’s quality of life. Architecture practice CZA – Cino Zucchi Architetti, which has always worked on a broad range of projects, outlines its innovative architectural vision through the voices of its most prominent professionals and its founder, Cino Zucchi. By closely examining the firm’s most important completed and future projects, the course will provide a wide range of examples to inspire the viewer’s architectural vision. The creative processes that led, and will lead, to the construction of very advanced buildings will be examined both from the perspective of architectural design and compositional innovation. The concepts of aesthetics and function, along with the overlap between the two, will be addressed. CZA is committed to combining experimentation with a level of professionalism able to respond to complex projects on any scale, working as needed with an established network of consultants specialized in structures, services, roads, finance, landscaping, graphic design, and lighting. The course is an important opportunity for all architects who want to deepen their understanding of the fundamental aspects of major international projects.
